The Mother-Daughter Coastal Retreat is for mothers and daughters aged 10 and older who seek quality bonding time through unique outdoor experiences. 
 
Do I need experience with any of these activities?
No experience is necessary! The activities are beginner-friendly, and guidance will be provided for crabbing, horseback riding, and paddleboarding.
 
Will there be any free time?
Yes, there will be some downtime to relax, explore the beach, or enjoy the cozy accommodations.
 
Will I be sharing a room?
Yes, mother-daughter pairs will share rooms.
 
Accommodations and Location
 
Where is the retreat held?
The retreat will be held in Florence, Oregon, with accommodations at a riverfront home close to the beach and Old Town Florence.
 
What are the accommodation amenities?
The home includes a private dock, river beach, jacuzzi, BBQ, pool table, and breathtaking views from nearly every room!
 
What’s the nearest airport? The nearest airport is Mahlon Sweet Field (EUG) in Eugene, Oregon.
 
Is transportation included?
Transportation for this event is not included. Guests must arrange their own transportation to and from the retreat location and for any planned activities, but carpooling with hosts will be available whenever possible.
 
How many people will be at the retreat?
The retreat is limited to 8 guests (4 mother-daughter pairs) and your host/daughter duo.

Yes, all meals are included and prepared by your host (s).

What is the cost of this retreat?
$2,999 per Mother/Daughter duo.
 
How do I reserve a spot for the retreat?
Simply book your spot by adding the retreat you would like to attend to your cart and pressing the check out button. 
 
What is the cancellation policy?
If you are unable to make the trip for any reason you are able to transfer your deposit to another lady or receive a 75% of your payment as a credit to use for a 2026 HOJ event.

What should I pack for the retreat / activities?
A packing list will be provided upon booking. All crabbing and paddle-boarding equipment will be provided.
 
Will there be Wi-Fi and cell service at the accommodation?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available at the accommodations, however cell service may vary depending on the provider.
 
Do I need any licenses or permits?
Yes, an Oregon shellfish/crabbing license is required for crabbing and can be purchased in advance or upon arrival. 
 
Do I need to be a certain age to attend?
We suggest participants be 10 years or older to attend this retreat.
